Reselling For A Cause...

Vintage O & E G Austrian Oval Bowl - Clover
Youngest son was born with Down Syndrome and presently attends Morning Star School in Orlando, FL. It  is a private school for special needs children and is wonderful.  MSS is small and all the staff have a heart for these special children.

Yearly, the parents host a Spring Bazaar to help offset expenses.  Part of that affair involves a rummage sale and each year items are donated that can bring in much more money if they are auctioned on Ebay or sold in someone's resale booth.  This year I have placed several things on Ebay for the cause.  One was the lot of Bey Blades I blogged about recently, which went for $50.00.  We probably would have only received $5.00 or so at the rummage sale.

There are a few other items I have scheduled to begin auction this Sunday night.  8:30PM EST you will be able to view them here http://www.ebay.com/sch/myfancy55/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3984 . Here are pics of a few of them.

10K Gold Pendant w/ 3 tiny diamonds & 3 blue topaz?

Lot of Sterling Silver Jewelry
1958 Silver Soldered Pitcher From International Silver
It is nice to be able to help out such a wonderful school.  Have you listed things on your Ebay to help a non-profit organization?  If so, how did it go?

  1. What a wonderful way to help raise money for your son's school. I love shopping at these rummage sales! Our church is having one in a couple of weeks, too. I'm off to check our your eBay site!
