Vintage Sewing Notions and Patterns...

Sewing is not a great love of mine, but for some strange reason I am drawn to vintage sewing supplies at estate and yard sales.  Found this unique wood sewing box at the estate sale of a German lady and loved it enough to pay the asking price - not waiting till 1/2 off day because it would probably be gone.

Found this sweet wood thread rack full of wooden spools at a yard sale.

Believe it or not the below are considered vintage as well - they are from the 70's and are Ethnic Folkwear patterns.  These are three of five I  picked up at a thrift store in Jax, FL.  They were $1.00 each.  The envelopes have some wear, but the patterns are uncut and factory folded.  They are listed on Ebay now from $9.99 to $12.99 each.  I was not tempted to keep them as I do not plan on tackling such sewing projects. :)
