Anyone familiar with Beyblades? Or is it Bey Blades? Anyway, someone donated a large lot of them to my son's school for their Rummage Sale. Someone commented that they were very popular and collectible so I said I would research and put them up for auction if that was the case. Well, they are... popular... and potentially valuable. A much smaller set went for over $270.00 recently. I have the set from the school on auction and it has had over 200 hits and 13 watchers presently. It is little over an hour from ending and has no bids. So, either we have some very savvy bidders waiting till the last minute or people are just watching to see for how much they sell. UPDATE: Sold for $49.99 plus s/h, which is not shabby. Much better than they would have received at a rummage sale, but I believe there are pieces that go for a lot more.
