Hello Again...

Sorry to be MIA for so long.  Thought I had lost control of my domain name, but all is well.  I've enjoyed keeping up with my fellow vintage loving bloggers in the meantime!

In December of 2013 the antique market, where I rented space, closed it's doors. I've not rented any new space since then.  Life has thrown other things my way to deal with.  Maybe I will do vintage resaling again soon.  I do so love it.

Still doing a little thrifting, but my best thrifting pal, Hazel, moved out of state, so I'm on my own now.  Trying to just buy things I am crazy about, but even that is too much... which is how I got into
vintage resale in the first place. :)

Pictures shown are of my old space at College Park Antique Market.  Still keep in touch with the former owner, Kelly.  Maybe she'll open another store soon... hint, hint.

Thanks for stopping by and happy junkin'!

Happy New Year and Some Warm Vintage...

Wishing you all a Happy and Blessed New Year!

2014 holds new things for me.  The antique market in which I rented a booth has closed it's doors and my side of the garage is full of stock.  Decisions to be made as to whether to open another booth, have a yard sale, or both.

Black & Multi Granny Square Afghan
The afghan at right and below belonged to a friend's 104 year old mother in law who passed a few years ago.  Isn't it lovely?

Also below is a wooden biscuit box/crate from the 1800's that was hers.

Thanks for stopping by. Stay warm and safe.

Blessings,  Leah

Sorry I haven't posted much lately, but should have more time to do so.  The vintage shop where I rented space has closed :(  I may be looking for a new space, but decided to take a break for the holidays, as I have plenty of wondrous vintage stock and keep acquiring more. Pics are of a few recently purchased treasures.  The antique mercury glass ornaments are a friends.  I have been selling them online for her.

Vintage Christmas Goodness and More...

Tardy in posting, but I have found some great vintage goodness recently.  Loved these industrial thread spools... about 120 found at a rummage sale in this great 50's suitcase.

Throughout the year I have found 8 vintage mercury glass bead garlands, measuring from 7 to 9 feet each.  They are either on eBay now or will be on Sunday night.

This needlepoint stocking kit was found at a rummage sale and is in on eBay here.
Have also found numerous vintage mercury glass ornaments throughout the year.  Have a few in my booth at College Park Antique Market . May put a few on eBay soon.

These 50's diorama ornaments are on eBay now with not too much action.  Thought they were unique.

Wishing you a Happy Autumn and a wonderful upcoming holiday season!

Greetings, Strangers...

Sorry I've not posted in a while.  Been kind of busy with this cute Missy...

... and getting ready for my daughter's wedding...

It's a busy, exciting time of life.  Will be back to thrifting and posting soon.  Hope your summer has been wonderful!

Hitting the Yard Sales...

Found this 50's? solid cedar wardrobe in my neighborhood last weekend.  It has a few dings and some finish issues, but at $30 it was still a great deal.  Daughter number two has claimed it.  She is setting up household as a newlywed. :)
Found this vintage Household Institute "Princess" pitcher.  It has nice crazing, but a crack in the top. Still will make a great display piece or vase.
Milk glass vases, old liquor bottle, vintage clear glass vase, sweet and colorful Mexico S & P's and large round white Schumann of Germany plate/platter.  I love yard thrifting! :)

These are not from yard sales, but still want to share them with you... This antique Edwardian child's dress from the early 1900's was my friend's mother-in-law's.  Sold it on eBay last week.
These sweet little girl dresses are in my shop, but not moving too fast.  May bring them back to list on eBay.  Varied in age, with newest being from the 40's or 50's.
